Children & Teens
Chiropractors provide custom treatment plans for all their patients based on their age and health needs. The type of adjustment needed for a child is based on their size and age. As teens mature musculoskeletal problems may begin to become more present. This could be due to sports injuries, poor posture ("text neck"), underlying alignment abnormalities and even hormones.
FAQ
Is it safe?
Chiropractic and Craniosacral care is a non-invasive treatment for children and teens. Chiropractors are experts in providing custom patient based care and take every patient's age, size and medical need into account before providing treatment. Chiropractors can utilize a variety of techniques when adjusting the spine. Some techniques are slower and gentle, without the "pop". Other techniques may produce that popping sound when a joint is adjusted. The sound you hear is the release of gas bubbles in the joint and there is usually minimal, if any, discomfort involved.
