Chiropractic Care

Craniofacial Chiropractic care utilizes gentle movements to the bones of the skull along with muscle and fascial release techniques to balance the relieve tension in the head and neck.
Chiropractic physicians must complete a doctorate level educational program from an accredited chiropractic medicine school in order to practice drug-free, hands on medicine. Chiropractic doctors are trained in physical examination and laboratory examination, diagnosis, treatment and prevention to restore optimal health and function.
In addition to cranial adjusting, our office uses Activator, SOT, Drop Table (Thompson), Flexion Distraction technique, and Diversified chiropractic technique. Additional treatment tools we utilize are ultrasound, class 4 laser therapy and e-stim.
Acupuncture & Dry Needling
Acupuncture has developed from centuries old Chinese Medicine. It is used today to relieve conditions and diseases including TMJ/TMD pain, emotional stress, headaches and many more health complaints. Along with acupuncture needles, cupping and gua sha techniques are utilized during treatments.
Dry needling treats the muscle tissue, joints, nerves, tendons and ligaments that are often associated with TMJ/TMD, headaches, muscle pain and tightness and nerve associated pain.
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Orofacial Myology is a therapy that identifies and eliminates harmful habits or disorders that involve the muscles of the tongue, cheeks, lips, and jaws. Conditions that can be addressed with orofacial myology include tongue ties, TMJ/TMD, Sleep Apnea, problems involving sucking, swallowing, or chewing. Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy can benefit children, teens, and adults.

Sacro-Occipital Technique-SOT
Cranial therapy balances the skull which contains almost 80% of our nervous system. This gentle technique addresses the movement of the fluid in the head and spine as well as assists in developing and maintaining proper growth patterns of the airway, palate, and jaws.
Sacro-Occipital Technique is a chiropractic adjusting technique that provides gentle, safe adjustments to your spine, head, and other key areas. SOT methods are designed for infants, children, and adults, and are the only chiropractic method with TMJ and orthodontic co-treatment protocols.

Laser Therapy
Class 4 medical therapy lasers are used for relief of muscle and joint pain. Class 4 laser therapy can be applied to areas of myofascial tension and nerve pain. Class 4 laser therapy is proven to reduce pain and inflammation and increase circulation. Class 4 laser therapy can be used for chronic or acute pain and after surgical procedures.
CBCT Imagining
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) provides a lower dose alternative to traditional CT imaging and x-rays of the TMJ, skull and spine. CBCT is used to provide a 3D reconstruction which aids in diagnosis and treatment planning.
